Idaho Backyard Birding
It’s been fun getting to know the birds in my backyard! A couple weeks ago, we had beautiful hoarfrost for a couple of days, so I went out to capture some of the local birds and pretty views in my yard. As I get more acquainted with Idaho, I’ll be sharing lots more from my birding adventures! Please enjoy some photos and follow along on my birding adventures on my bird nerd Instagram!
I’ve been keeping track of the birds I’ve seen in or flying over and here’s my list so far:
Black-capped Chickadee, Northern Flicker, American Robin, House Finch, House Sparrow, American Goldfinch, Downy Woodpecker, Dark-eyed Junco, European Starling, Eurasian Collared Dove, Western Meadowlark, Bald Eagle, Sandhill Crane, Trumpeter Swan, Canada Goose, Northern Harrier, Red-tailed Hawk, Common Raven, and American Crow.
