July

A long, HOT month!

There was barely any relief from 90 degree temps and wind. The last day of the month brought a wildfire quite close to where we live, which is now raging past 2400 acres, and still burning.

Aside from being hot, July also brought an incredible 4th of July Fireworks Show to Idaho Falls, a huge car show & drag racing exhibition to our town of Rigby, a nice visit with my parents, and lots of home projects ~ we’re now nearly experts in electrical and sprinkler systems ;-)

We also enjoyed lots of pretty sunsets, exciting new bird visitors to our yard, and practicing some photography with my new flash.

August is almost always hotter, so hopefully Mother Nature will provide some relief in the month ahead as we wind down summer and head towards fall.
