World Migratory Bird Day 2025 - Spring
This particular day is actually celebrated two times a year, on the second Saturday of May for our spring migrating birds and on the second Saturday of October for our fall migrating birds. For the first World Migratory Bird day of 2025, I participated in a spring bird count at Cherry Creek State Park, bird banding at Denver Audubon, and hosted a walk in Thornton, Colorado. I had a lot of great bird sightings! See the photos below for some of the highlights. I hope to host World Migratory Bird Day ini October so keep an eye out for an event!
