I’ve seen Bald Eagles at Golden Ponds, but Golden Eagles? While not likely, Golden Ponds is a great place to see a variety of wildlife - from Pelicans to Mallards, Cormorants to Mergansers, song birds, raptors, and others (snakes, fish, bunnies, and maybe even deer!) This easy path walks around multiple ponds that are small enough to get a nice close up look at a lot of these birds. Bring your binoculars and cameras for this one! Weather permitting - an alternate date/time will be sent out if the weather isn’t good for this one.
